Sporting chic maroon uniforms, the Charlonians, under the leadership of Presi- dent Jean Sanderson, Vice-President Carol Clark, and Secretary Marva Beckstrom, completed one of their most successful years. Included in their many activities were promoting Jordan's very successful bond and stamp drive, presenting their annual assembly, marching at games, staging a comic initiation followed by a candle-light banquet, ushering at important plays and assemblies, and sponsoring a gala dress ball for all club members and basketball players.
