Foreword lt's been quite a year, hasn7t it? Much has happened to us-a steady grind of classes-a crowded schedule of meetings, plays, campaigns, elections, and ball games. While we are taking inventory of the past year, let's don't leave out those things a yearbook canit record. The sadness and pathos of leaving our beloved school, yet happy in entering a new one that will give us more room, more concerts, a whirl of parties and dances. No need to be dismayed because we couldn't capture the intangibles. Only words and photographs can be summarized. Here is your yearbook-Memories of the past year-Some memories of Yesteryear-Memories ofthe wonderful times we have had here at our old school-Memories! Long hours have been spent trying to make it a memorial that you will treasure for the years ahead: We have tried to record football, the wonderful band, the clubs, the classes, the faculty, who have understood our problemsg the classmates, who have walked with us down these crowded hallsg the beautiful music given to us-in fact, we have done our best to catch all activities. The regional basketball tournament, Military Ball, Senior Class Play, Class Day-all seasonals will come to you in our Supplement. When you turn the pages of your Joplimo in the years ahead, may your minds be flooded with happy memories, and you can say, That was the year that l accomplished the mostfi Let's get aboard this 'Train Load of Memories and peruse, as we sketch the story of this year . . .
