in L., Reminiscing is no longer possible Without a pang of sorrow- these were my classmates-these I'll never forget. To me the price of peaceseemed too great until I watched members of my own class go off to War and, unbegrudgingly, give their lives that I might have a better world to livesin. Of all the things I've crowded into my education in my stay at Senior High, I reluctantly realize that it took these lives to teach me --and the entire world-a lesson We would learn no other way. Without peace human life is worthless-that yesterday in the scales of life-greed and hate overbalanced kindness and love. With death, they piled high on these scales faith and hope.
