uture eaclnero of ogmerica Realization of the nation's increasing demand for more and better teachers has brought about the organization of F. T. A. clubs all over the nation. The jonesville F. T. A., the Anna Sullivan club, has as its chief purpose encouraging more young people to become teachers. Also emphasis is placed upon the student's culti- vating character, health, mental keenness, personality, they are to be good teachers of tomorrow. The F. T. A. gives practical experience in teaching because its members many tirzes are asked to substitute for teachers in the elementary sc ool. Beta stands for students of outstanding character and achievement. The cluh has at least one service project each year, as well as chapel and radio programs.
