may An important part of making up an annual is the hardworking business staff. The four girls who make up this section are all diligent workers. Many hours are spent tramping over the streets of Jonesboro to sell the ads which help to finance our yearbook. These girls are responsible, not only for soliciting ads, but also for selling the yearbooks. Slack periods and dull moments are few for the Hurricane business staff. Class editors cut school-day pictures for their pages. 111770012 4 Deadlines! Deadlines! Those hair-raising words are just a part of what the Hurricane Staff has to con- tend with throughout the year. Four times a year these words haunt the minds of the staff members. By assiduous study and work, somehow or other the deadlines are met and the book is assembled. Many hours of thought and work go together to make the Hurricane yearbook what it is. Editors of separate sections get together to discuss their layouts. Standing are Cecil Barnett, sports editorg Spencer Elrod, assistant sports editor, and Cheryl Wall, assistant feature editor. Seated are Brenda McKinney, copy editorg and Reba Stone, feature editor.
