QUIj1dD0fCSCf0f The Jonesboro chapter of the Quill and Scroll, the international honorary society for high school jour- nalists, received its charter in 1955. The requirements for membership are to have a B average and to have had one year of annual work, to have had forty inches of copy printed in the paper, or to have excelled in photography or art. The members of the club re- ceive their individual copies of the Quill and Scroll magazine bi-monthly in orderto learn what chapters all,over the United States are doing. They are en- couraged and recognized for individual achievement in journalism and related fields. Each meeting usually y ends in a bull session on journalism.
