Opens Door to a Profession N it NX-.4 One of the highlights of the year was the F.'l'.A. banquet, held at West Park. After a delicious dinner, presentations were made. Itelmeeea Rolwrtson, past president of the F.T.A. is being presented a hraeelet by Jerlyn Murray, F.T.A. president. Linda Cathcart who was chosen favorite future teaeher hy the elub. was presented a bracelet by Mrs. Gregson, club sponsor. A delightful pro- gram followed. Am l interested in teaching as at profession? Could l ful- fill the requirements of a teueher? ln what grade level would l hest teach? Numer- ous questions sueh as these were answered hy panel mem- hers at meetings of the Future 'lleuehers of America during this year's aetivities. The ,loneslmoro ehapter of the Future Teachers of Ameriea was organized in 1057. The l .'l'.A. promotes interest in and the recognition of the ad- vantages. lienefits. and joys of the teaching profession. WIIEELER BRICK CO.. INC. xx ! Future teachers gain experience in the field of teaching hy helping Mrs. Gregson grade test papers during their free periods.
