This organiza- tion is made up of stu- dent body officers, class officers, and home room representatives. The Student Council sponsored many projects this year. Among: them were the Jonesboro-Para gould Sportsmanship par- ty, the District Student Council Convention, and the homecoming royalty float. T h is organization strives for the betterment of Jonesboro High School. Each year hopeful juniors anxiously await the announce- ment of next vearis National Honor Society memhers. To he eligible for membership into the N.H.S.. a student must have at least a HB average. The aim of this method of selecting is to present to the most deserving. well- rounded individual in the senior class the privilege of membership in the Jones- horo Chapter of the National Honor Society.
