Audubon Club tudies Lifvin Things As a citizen of my country I pledge myself to try in every way I can to conserve its natural resources, its soil, water, plants, and wildlife, and to protect them from harm and waste. This is the pledge of the National Audubon Association including the newly organized club in J.H.S. This club studies all living things, especial- ly birds. Members Share Common Interest-Mechanics i ' slime '-fE'LX'rV- t'!5fiff Students taking auto mechanics have the opportunity to join the Future Tradesmen of Arkansas. All the mem- bers of this club share a common in- terest+-motors and mechanics. At the beginning of the year. the officers and new members were installed into the club. To gain knowledge and experi- ence in auto mechanics. as well as to determine the safety of the cars, members of the club conducted a safe- ty check of the students' cars parked on the parking lot. They also held their annual fish fry. One of the highlights of the year was the motor which was on exhibit at the Science Fair. The motor was assembled by the club members.
