QQ' 94-'gl DECEMBER . . . the month' of festivities and good spirit was full of activities . . . home rooms were glittering with Christmas . . . many J.H.S. clubs were busy working on floats for the Christmas Parade . . . A most enioyable assembly program by the Arkettes of State College . . . the annual Christmas program turned more food and toys than ever before for the Goodfellows . . . home room 200's Christmas Dance vvas a huge success as usual . . . basketball began with prospects for a good season then the Hurricane brought home the champion- ship trophy of the N.E.A. Invitational Tourney.

NOVEMBER . . . turkeys and pilgrims in a Whirlpool of activities star in the third chapter ot school year . . . the announcement of the coveted DAR award winner was made . . . the anticipation and thrill ot the Whos Who con test brought much excitement to the halls of J.H.S .... Then came the blow ot the first report card . . . the coronation of the band queen was the halt time activity of the Helena game . . . the Thanksgiving vacation and the annual Turkey Day Game ended this month. JANUARY . . . Whistles! Bells! Sirens! A brand new year . . . new year resolutions being made . . . some were broken . . . The Hurricane continued to burn the hard wood as basketball season was victoriously continued. Bill Ruckman Night was high- lighted at Berl Smith Gym. All the cats swung on over to East School for the Polio Dance sponsored by the r J.H.S. Student Council. Ugh! Report cards . . . looks like we stayed in and studied on week nights, no Curve lnn till Friday night.
