choose life only that and always and at whatever risk. to let life leak out to let it wear away by the mere passage of time to withold giving it and spending it is to choose nothing. . . Kelley You will choose the road you follow in life. You may choose one of the popular, high speed freeways, where the risks are high, but where you can accomplish a lot in a short period of time. Or maybe you would rather follow a smooth, curving highway which takes you through the small towns and cities with their friendly atmospheres. Perhaps you will choose a rough and narrow backroad where you can enjoy the quiet solitude of the country. If you like, you can hike through the forests on a narrow, rocky trail where you must be cautious, but where you can be close to nature. The kind of road you take in life is important, but not as important as how you are prepared to meet life along that kind of road. Know what is ahead and prepare yourself. The choice is yours . . . 239

Let me remember beyond forgetting- let me remember. . . These words of Winston Abbott describe my feelings perfectly- my feelings about this year's annual, this year in general, lonesboro Senior High, and most of all the people who have made all these things worth remembering. The Annual Staff this year has worked very hard to give you, the students, an annual composed of things that you will remember. We think we've done a good job. However, this goal could not have been achieved without the following people's help: students - Charles Walker, Debbie Little, Ted White, Ruth Fisher, Dennis Wiggins, and Gary Rodgers, the teachers who served on the Who's Who Committee and the teachers who put up with us during 6th period, especially Mrs. West- morelandg Tony Kimbrell and Denise Davis for their advice, David Fickle, judy Kimbrell, and Tony May for developing pictures for us, the secretaries in the office for their cooperation during all our phone calls, Southeastern School Studios for all the 'rush jobs' that they did, our representative from Hunter Publishing Company, Mr. Bill Wolfe and john james who assist- ed him, Mr. Smith for his understanding cooperation and most of all I would like to extend a personal Thank You to Miss Acree and my staff for making this year worth remembering. -Lori Arnold Co-Editor 1973
