Adminisiraiion Provides Leadership, Discipline and Logalig As MR. A. E. DRIGGERS led the campaign to rebuild our school more than five years ago, he is un- derstandably proud of every inch of Jones Valley. Mr. Driggers is quite a sports enthusiast and is especially interested in our own school athletic program. His hobby is playing dominoes. He holds an A. B. degree from Birmingham-Southern and an M. A. degree from the University ofAla- bama. Busy at one of her many daily tasks, call- ing absentees, is our Girl's Advisor, MRS. FAY DONALDSON. In addition to these duties, she sponsors the Student Council and is in charge of the monitor system. She graduated from Birmingham-Southern with an A. B. degree and from the University of Alabama with an M. A. degree. As Boy's Advisor, MR. P. A. VAN- DIVER checks on all boys and makes all schedules. He holds an A. B. degree from Samford University, an M. A. from Peabody, and an M. A. in Coun- seling and Guidance from the University of Alabama. His favorite hobbies are gardening, reading, and cooking.

Counselors Serve as Dear Abbg +o Brownies MRS. MAUDENE DRIGGERS, a graduate of Jones Valley, serves as our head regis- trar, An avid domino player, Mrs, Drig- Counseling freshmen and sophomores is the task of MISS BARBARA BRITT. She holds B, A, and M, A, degrees from the University of Alabama, Visiting her family in Tusca- loosa is her most enjoyable pastime, College-bound students are always stopping by the office of MRS, RUTH MARSHALL, who advises them about ACT and SAT scores and college entrance requirements, Mrs, Marshall is still excited about her tour of Europe last summer She graduated from Judson and has Masters' degrees in Edu- cation and Guidance from U. of Alabama, MRS. HELEN CHANDLER, also a graduate of Jones Valley, serves as assistant registrar, She enjoys sewing for her three children, and gers also enjoys reading and cooking---and, she is very active in her church, of course, taking care of the boss, I7
