NATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY Under the direction of Miss Joyce Norman, an honor society for speech students has been formed at Jones Valley. For a school group to become ' a troupe belonging to the National Thespian Society, many require- ments must be met. After these are met and the group is accepted, an initiation is held. In 1964, J. A schol- arship is presented to the state win- ner. PAT FARRIS WINS HOMEMAKER AWARD Margaret Waldrop represented JV during Fire Prevention Week which is sponsored by the Birmingham Fire Department. Margaret is a Varsity Cheerleader.
