This school paper is written entirely hy the students, and for the students. Each semester a stalT is selected, and due to their constant worlt, and the participation of the rest ot the students and faculty, the .Tones Re- porter has hecoine a symhol of the .Tones spirit. Every jonesite who shows an interest in Joumal- ism, is given the opportunity to write for our paper. Students are assigned to cover various activities talting place at ,Tones and other places which would he of in- terest to the students and faculty. Some of the activ- ities covered are the ljashion Show, dances, senior IU E REPORTER prom, luncheon, OFLXC Business Convention, and graduation. But thatvs not alll px paper written in a school consisting mostly of girls, would not he com- plete without the ever popular ACOSSIP CUL- UBINH and student achievement news. Being a memher of the Reporter staft is not an easy joh, hut the memhers as so are rewarded for their efforts hy the satisfaction of lqnowing the whole student body enjoys reading the Jones Reporter. The fall sponsor was lxlr. Thomas, and the spring sponsor is Miss Kiley. Rlarlene Lester is the editor and is assisted hy Betty Gilt and Barlvara Vwfinters. The Jones students are proud of their Jones Re- porter.
