SPECIAL SERVICE CLUB UPPER LEFT ' . 4 Carol Erickson i LOWER LEFT Alinas Stelanek. Elsie Schmidt, Dorothy Turek, Annalies Zieringer, Peggy Hicks, Miss Bzduch. Carol Bennett, Rosemarie Radostitzz, Carline Iustes. Deck the halls with boughs of hollyil And who was on hand to deck those halls with holly? Right!! The Special Service Club. Un- der the guidance of Miss Bzduch, this group made Christmas of 1949 one of the most cheer- ful, most decorative Christrnases lones has ever been fortunate enough to enjoy. A giant, col- orful Christmas tree in the first floor corridor greeted everyone as he entered fones. Holly, set off with perky red bows, was displayed on every landing. Colorful Christmas pictures re- minded us that Christmas was not far off. All this combined made Iones students realize how fortunate they were to have the Special Service Club. This club is always ready when there's work to be done, its members are reliable and trustworthy and deserve, indeed, the highest respect for their know-how and willingness to work. VPER RIGHT Marlene Gunnesch, Ioyce Vankat, Donna Fisher. Eleanor Grepelis, Barbara Wanderski, Miss Bzduch, Elsie Grenz, Rita Smetana, Miss Holden, Audrey Fleischhacker, Betty Stewart, Ioan Graf. LOWER RIGHT lean Sarlin, Dorothy Dukelow, Miss Bzduch, Eliza- beth Tennant, Catherine Fahey, La Verne McGin- nis, Marilyn Keller, Bernice Reynolds, Dorothy Guliasi, Violet Saraiolean. The club is sponsored by the charming Miss Bzduch, who does a wonderful job in keeping the girls busy and alert about antici- pating new duties. Iobs are so assigned that, by the end of the year, edch student has had a chance to work in the main office, the confer- ence room, and the library. Five Kraft points are awarded to each student for every forty- minute period on duty, One can easily see how valuable member- ship in this organization is to a student. Expe- rience, above all, is gained by the workers on their special assignments. ln addition, they are developing pleasing personalities, always fine assets in business. Yes, you can depend on a Special Service Club worker. Shes always on hand when there's work to be done!!!
