Mr. Carey Accepts Awards from Mr. Kraft GCJOD SAMARITANS Mr. I. L. Kraft, the founder and chairman of the Kraft Foods Company, has made a tradition of award- ing jade jewelry to those jones students who work hard in developing their individual personalities. Mr. I. C. Staehle, industrial refations director of Al dens, lnc., awards the outstanding typist of the gradu ating class a beautiful, new typewriter. Mr. S. L. Workman, president of Workman Service, lnc., awards two graduales of each class scholarships valued at approximately S125 each. This award en ables a student to go to any college of his choice for one year's session of evening classes The winners are determined by a committee of five faculty members headed by Mr. Carey. Mr. A. T. Bush, office manager of the Acme Steel Company of Chicago, deserves our gratitude for have ing conceived the idea of the Acme Steel Company awards. The prizes are steel trays inscribed with the names of the winners. Mr. Myron D. Ross, president cf the Office Manage- ment Association of Chicago and an office executive of the jewel Food Stores, has been a real friend. His con fributions come through the OMAC and help to make lanes welcome in the business world. We just can't find more generous men than these who work hard to make jones the best recommended school in Chicago. MR. MYRON D.
