03 CD CO all over The first bell had rung. The first door had opened. The first student had entered. And so it was that the first year at the new Jones had begun. The students at the beginning of the year were mostly strangers. Before long they were mostly a close group of friends. The reputation of Jones, which used to be that of a dark and dingy old school, was now that of a bright and ultramodern new one. Confusion and excitement was felt at the beginning of the year. Soon the excitement had worn off and a daily routine had set in. Now it was over. The last bell had rung. The last student left. The last door had closed. Now it was over, the first year at the new Jones was all over. The first year at the new Jones was a new beginning for some and a starting over for others.
