ACTIVITIES Homecoming 1983 The highlight of the homecoming festivities was the Longhorn's defeat over Crooked Oak by a score of 20-0. The day included the traditional parade of floats, the marching band, cheerleaders, horses, and decorated bicycles. Charlcie Hines was chosen Football Queen. She was crowned by retiring Queen Brenda Birth. Queen Charlice Hines with attendants, Stephanie Stevens, Trish Cesar, and Cheryl Alvarez Flower Girl was Kelli Redding, and Brad Walker carried the crown. The Freshman float took third.
