WC4 life is much too short to be spent hurriedly, pretending to know where you are going. It can be made much more re- warding by getting to know yourself and your fellow class- mates . For only when you know who you are with and what you are doing can you even begin to pretend to know where you are going. 2 1W Division Page HS 5 ' f STUDENT LIFE HARD AT WORK Matters great and small are always a challenge to students, from the mind or from a book, but they will always be, Hard At Work Student life 7 ... Remodeling the library heads the list, with new ceilings for the elementary', new gym floor and water well (and water — WOW!) at State Center, and new curtains and carpet for principal's offices. These changes made the schools a more habitable place for all people involved, plus add- ing the important ingredient of progress and pride, the feeling of going somewhere ... and getting there, to the lives of school people spending their days in these buildings. He makes us happy when we are sad, by thinking of all the good times we had. Now he's one of God's little angles, and can watch us from above, so he' 11 know we will always have his love. Your smiling face has always brightened up our lives, but even though it's gone it's always still in sight. LONNIE CALLAN These troubles and sufferings of ours are after all, quite small and won't last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God's richest blessing upon us forever and ever. Lonnie this is not good-by, and we'll try not to cry. But the rememberance of you will always be in our mind, and it will never be left behind. To a sweet person who will never die in our heart, and to us it's a brand new start. 2 Cor. 4:17 124 Memories Memories are made of things That happen everyday Moments as we live them Things we do or say. Little bits and pieces of laughter mixed with tears Paragraphs and pages Written through the years. The friendships we remember Mistakes that we regret The ending of a love We never could forget We can’t erase the sadness Or edit out the tears We can’t undo the wrong We can’t relive the years. But since memories keep building Each day can be the start Of making new and happy one’s To store within the heart.
