A Time To Remember As we view this book, for the first or perhaps fifty years hence, it is going to recall the memories of the past. It is our hope that most of your memories are pleasant, happy and above all else benefi- cial to you. America still gives you a chance to reach almost any goal through its schools. If we let our educational system crumble we will great- ly injure the foundation of our greamess as a nation. If you fail to take advantage of your ed- ucational opportunities you will never fully rea- lize your potential goal. W e must develop and use together our educational system, expanding it and making it stronger for our generation and those to come. The school will shape the minds of everyone coming up in the next generation just as it has in the past generations, it's a big challenge. I wish to express to you our warmest thanks for your confidence and cooperation in helping to meet this challenge and hope your future is the happiest, healthiest and most suc- cessful.
