The Lariat Staff Welcomes You to the Jones School of 1968 Our football team of ’68 gave the fans many exciting games this year. The Home Ec. girls learn many new things which will aid them in their future years such as sewing, decorating, cooking, and many others. Here we see a few of our shop boys displaying just one of their many fine projects which have been made this year. Views Communication whether between individuals or countries is vital to all. Through our English de- partment great effort is expended to teach students to be able to communicate effectively. The business education curriculum includes shorthand, typing, office machines, bookkeeping, general business, and related subjects preparing students for further study or jobs according to their choice. Music plays its part in a well balanced pro- gram starting in the grades and continuing through high school. 5 The library serves the students well with the addition of new books each year. With the addition of our speech class this year, many have taken part and learned the basic method of speaking. The speech class also performed the Christ- mas play this year.
