Our forefathers of each generation have worked hard to better the principals of the American way of life. This republic is based upon the ideals of freedom, equa- lity, opportunity, and co-operation. This is true in the home, in the community, in industry, and in government. Through education, young people learn the funda- mentals of co-operative living. They learn to study, to acquire facts, to thifrk for themselves, to decide Issues by peaceful means and majority rule, to give and take, to be tolerant of other people's ideas and customs, to appreciate human values, and to assume responsibilities for themselves and others. We are the most fortunate people existing on the earth today. No other place on the globe does a race of people enjoy the freedoms, the opDortunities and the happy way of life that the American people are privileged to have. I challenge the saneness of any American citizen, who has a chance to know the grand- ness of the American way of life, who would stray off after ..any of the isms and give up freedoms and opportunities that he now enjoys and become a slave to the whims of some individual.
