.lf j. - 1 Vernon Andrews, Manager Students in cafeteria line At JCJC when we feel hunger pangs, we think of making a trip over to the C. L. Neill Student Center to the cafeteria or grill. Besides the grill which serves hamburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches, there is the cafeteria facility CMorrison'sD where one can enjoy dining in the large student dining room or the faculty dining area. There are also private rooms where clubs and groups may have special meetings. Many organizations have banquets arranged by the staff of Vernon Andrews, Manager. Mr. Andrews and his staff endeavor to provide a varied menu for the students. During the year, in order to break the usual meal routine, they have included steak nights, outdoor barbeques, wiener roasts, sandwich nights for the students to make their own, a pancake supper and a special birthday night with candle lighted cakes. A food committee, consisting of members of the student body, meets each month to hear complaints and suggestions in order that the staff may learn the students' likes and dislikes in the food line and be able to adiust the menus accordingly. Early in the year Andrews sponsored a Name the Muffin contest for a new dish and a ten-speed bike was given as prize. Don Sellers, the winner of the Name the Muffin contest, is shown here with Vernon Andrews.
