4 Campus Scenes The campus of Jones County Junior College consists of 360 acres of land lying within or adjoining the southwestern section of Ellisville. Included on the main campus are the buildings ofthe college and the playing fields. The buildings are modern, well-equipped and conveniently located on the campus. Jones County Junior College began as an Agricultural High School in 1911. lt was first supported by Jones County alone, but was later joined by Clarke, Covington, Greene, Jasper, Perry, Smith, and Wayne County. Jones County Junior College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the American Association of Junior Colleges, the American Council on Education, the Mississippi Association of Colleges, the Miss sissippi Junior College Association and the American Technical Education Association. On the next few pages are shown scenes and buildings on the campus of Jones County Junior College, A -C ,QFSQZIA-Y' .. . Tiiliwg, The Fine Arts Building is a beautiful building which contains teaching facilties for piano, organ, voice, band, chorus, art, sculp ture, and ceramic arts. The Fine Arts auditorium seats 1,500 and has stage and drama areas.

THE C. L. NEILL STUDENT CENTER - The C. L. Neill Student Center Building houses the cafeteria and grill. The cafeteria, affiliated with Morrison's Food Services, has a large main dining hall with faculty and private dining areas available for groups. Also located on the first floor is the bookstore. On the second floor are class rooms for History, Political Science, Socie ology, Government, and Psychology classes. Here also is the Fiadionian and Lair newsroom and offices for fac- ulty.
