Nancy Saul, pictured above, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Saul of Laurel. Nancy plans to attend Mississippi State University and get a degree in computer science. She is active in the Student Council, Phi Theta Kappa, is a cheer- leader, and a Class Favorite. Her many hobbies include dancing, water skiing, shooting pool, horseback riding, and meeting new people. Her favorite subjects are math, Eng- lish, and dance. Jan Shoemake, above, who is studying nursing, is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Marion Ingram. She is mar- ried with three girls, and one of her hobbies is helping her husband coach a little girls softball team. Her other hobbies are fishing, ceramics, writing, and nursing. She would like to work as a registered nurse. Harper Stone, below, plans to become a doctor, specializing in radiology. His favorite subjects are Zoology, organic chemistry, and physics. Harper is President of the Student Association, a member of PTK, a member of the Hall of Fame, and Homecoming King. His hobbies include tennis, football, racquetball, collecting stamps, and listening to music. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Stone of Laurel are Harper's par- ents. Billy Thames, pictured below, is a pharmacy major and plans to attend Ole Miss. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, on the football team, and a J Award winner. Billy loves sports and his favorite subjects are organic chemistry, physics, chemistry, and math. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Thames of Seminary.

4 Rebecca Ratcliff, below, is the daughter of lVlr. and Nlrs. Wil- roy Ratclift of Laurel. Rebecca is ajournalism major and would like to become a newspaper reporter. At JC she is the editor of the Radionian, scorekeeper tor the boys and girls basketball teams, the baseball team, a member of the BSU, and the Rec. Club. Hobbies of her's are basketball, writing, volleyball, and reading. l Scott Reddoch, below, is majoring in instrumental music education. Scott would like to teach instrumental music and percussion in a college. His hobbies are playing the drums, listening to music, and watching drum corps shows. Sub- jects that Scott enjoys at JC are band, theory, music history, and percussion. He is a member of the JCJC lVlaroon Typhoon marching band, and the concert band. Ann Roberts, above, is a music major. She would like to teach voice on the college level or perform with an opera company. Ann is active in the opera workshop and is secret tary of the JC Concert Choir. Favorite subjects of Ann's are voice, opera workshop, and literature. She is the daughter of the Rev. and lVlrs. W. E. Roberts of lVlcLain. Rusty Roberts, pictured above, is the son of Nlr. and IVlrs. C. G. Roberts of Laurel. Rusty is majoring in instrumental music education and plans to attend USIVI. He hopes to one day be a band director. He is a member of the JC marching band and the JC Concert Choir. He was in the 1977 Jr. Col- lege All Star Concert Band, and a special interest of his is playing his trumpet.
