Virginia McCardle, above, is an English and creative writing major. Virginia enjoys writing poetry and short stories. She is involved in the PTK and the Lair Staff at JC. She is a win- ner of the J Award. She plans to finish her education and pursue a career in professional writing. She also paints, draws, and plays the piano. Virginia plans to attend USM after she finishes JC. Rhonda Mills, above, is the daughter of Mrs. Irma Ruth Mills and the late Mr. Jimmy C. Mills. She is a sophomore class representative PTK State Secretary, micro lab assistant, food committee member, a J Award winner. Rhonda is a pharmacy major and hopes to one day work in a pharmacy. Favorite subjects of hers are physics and organic chemistry. Dorothy Moore, pictured below, is a business major here at JC. She is married and has 2 children. She enjoys reading, sewing and doing needlework. She is also a member of the National Secretary's Grganization. Her husband is a local lawyer and realtor. Dorothy and her family make their home in Ellisville. 1' Jencie Moss, below, is interested in intensive business. She hopes to one day have a career as a secretary. Favorite sub- jects of Jencie's at JC are typing and business law. Jencie is the vocational Phi Beta Lambda President. She was also chosen as Homecoming Queen and Most Beautiful at JC. Jencie is the daughter of Mrs. Ellen Moss.

Richard Jenkins, pictured below, is a Liberal Arts and Sci- ence major here at JC. Richard would like to attend the Uni' versity of Southern Mississippi when he finishes JCJC. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jenkins. Richard is from Franklin, LA. Sandra Kennedy, below, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray- mond Kennedy of Laurel. Her major is distribution and mar- keting. Because of her interest in fashion Sandra hopes to one day have her own boutique. Her favorite subjects are marketing management, advertising, and speech. Sandra also likes sports, animals, and the outdoors. She is Presi- dent of the JC DECA Chapter, and a third place winner in the national DECA competition. Tommie Lockhart, pictured above, plans to finish school and work as a computer programmer. His major is data process- ing. Tommie a former member of the PBL. His favorite hob- bies are baseball, hunting, fishing, and reading mystery sto- ries. Subjects that Tommie enjoys are data processing courses and accounting. Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Lockhart Sr. are his parents. 1 Randy Martin, above, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy D. Martin of Ellisville, is a pre-med student. He hopes to become a sur- geon or a general practioner. Randy is active in the Choir, Madrigal Singers, stage production, and the PTK. He was also awarded the J Award and is in Who's Who. Special inter- ests of his are competitive sports, hunting and fishing, and his favorite subjects are chemistry and math.

4 Rebecca Ratcliff, below, is the daughter of lVlr. and Nlrs. Wil- roy Ratclift of Laurel. Rebecca is ajournalism major and would like to become a newspaper reporter. At JC she is the editor of the Radionian, scorekeeper tor the boys and girls basketball teams, the baseball team, a member of the BSU, and the Rec. Club. Hobbies of her's are basketball, writing, volleyball, and reading. l Scott Reddoch, below, is majoring in instrumental music education. Scott would like to teach instrumental music and percussion in a college. His hobbies are playing the drums, listening to music, and watching drum corps shows. Sub- jects that Scott enjoys at JC are band, theory, music history, and percussion. He is a member of the JCJC lVlaroon Typhoon marching band, and the concert band. Ann Roberts, above, is a music major. She would like to teach voice on the college level or perform with an opera company. Ann is active in the opera workshop and is secret tary of the JC Concert Choir. Favorite subjects of Ann's are voice, opera workshop, and literature. She is the daughter of the Rev. and lVlrs. W. E. Roberts of lVlcLain. Rusty Roberts, pictured above, is the son of Nlr. and IVlrs. C. G. Roberts of Laurel. Rusty is majoring in instrumental music education and plans to attend USIVI. He hopes to one day be a band director. He is a member of the JC marching band and the JC Concert Choir. He was in the 1977 Jr. Col- lege All Star Concert Band, and a special interest of his is playing his trumpet.
