li, Cynthia Graves, above, plans to become a clinical psycholo- gist. She hopes to work with emotionally disturbed people. Cynthia enjoys singing, reading, and playing the piano. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and she won the J Award. Cynthia's parents are Mrs. Valda Sue Lee and the late Mr. Curtis S. Graves of Ellisville. Cynthia plans to attend USM after J. C. Teresa Hendrix, above, is a member of the Baptist Student Union, and the Rec. Club. She has won the intramural volley- ball All Star Trophy, the Recreation-Achievement Award, and the Recreation Leadership Award. Teresa's major is speech and hearing. Her goal for the future is to teach at a school for the deaf. Teresa's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Russell A. Hendrix of Fruitdale, Ala. Karen Hinton, pictured below, has a double major in journal- ism and political science. She hopes to one day work for a newspaper or magazine. Karen is the managing editor of the Radionian. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, and active in intramural basketball. Special interests of Karen's are reading, running, preservation of nature and animals, and women's rights. Karen is the daughter of Mattie Hinton and the late Mr. C. H. Hinton. Shelton Houston, below, plans to attend USM after finishing J. C. He would like to work in the computer section of a large company. Shelton's favorite subjects are math, physics, and electronics. His hobbies are playing golf and working on a farm. Shelton's major is electronics technology. He is a member of VICA and has won the J Award. Shelton's par- ents are Mr. and Mrs. Rupert E. Houston of Raleigh.

Deborah Anne Farrior, pictured below, is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, and the J.C. Basketball Team. Her hobbies are playing basketball, cooking, playing tennis, and being with friends. Deborah's major is math. She plans to teach and coach. Her favorite subjects are British Literature and calcu, lus. Her parents are lVlr. and Nlrs. Marvin Nl. Farrior of Clara. l Garth Fisher, below, plans to become a doctor and specialize in radiology or surgery. l-le is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Vice-President of the Student Body, Chairman of the Food Committee, won the Freshman Chemistry Award, and the J Award. His favorite subjects in college are Zoology, calculus, physics, inorganic and organic chemistry. ',.l . April Geddie, pictured above, is the daughter of lVlr. and IVlrs. Don Geddie, of Taylorsville. Her plans for the future arq to finish her education and obtain a degree in retail floristryl April's major is floriculture. She is a member of the Studen Council, Freshman Class Favorite, and Freshman Class Offi cer. She hopes to have a business of her own one day. Apri likes to bowl, ski, arrange flowers, and horseback riding. Na-4 Pam Geddie, pictured above, hopes to be an x-ray techni- cian. Pam is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, and her hob- bies are tennis and reading. l-ler favorite subjects are anat- omy and physiology and math. lVlr. and lVlrs. Vern H, Geddie Jr. of Ellisville are Pam's parents.

Richard Jenkins, pictured below, is a Liberal Arts and Sci- ence major here at JC. Richard would like to attend the Uni' versity of Southern Mississippi when he finishes JCJC. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jenkins. Richard is from Franklin, LA. Sandra Kennedy, below, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray- mond Kennedy of Laurel. Her major is distribution and mar- keting. Because of her interest in fashion Sandra hopes to one day have her own boutique. Her favorite subjects are marketing management, advertising, and speech. Sandra also likes sports, animals, and the outdoors. She is Presi- dent of the JC DECA Chapter, and a third place winner in the national DECA competition. Tommie Lockhart, pictured above, plans to finish school and work as a computer programmer. His major is data process- ing. Tommie a former member of the PBL. His favorite hob- bies are baseball, hunting, fishing, and reading mystery sto- ries. Subjects that Tommie enjoys are data processing courses and accounting. Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Lockhart Sr. are his parents. 1 Randy Martin, above, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy D. Martin of Ellisville, is a pre-med student. He hopes to become a sur- geon or a general practioner. Randy is active in the Choir, Madrigal Singers, stage production, and the PTK. He was also awarded the J Award and is in Who's Who. Special inter- ests of his are competitive sports, hunting and fishing, and his favorite subjects are chemistry and math.
