Farrior of Clara. l Garth Fisher, below, plans to become a doctor and specialize in radiology or surgery. l-le is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Vice-President of the Student Body, Chairman of the Food Committee, won the Freshman Chemistry Award, and the J Award. His favorite subjects in college are Zoology, calculus, physics, inorganic and organic chemistry. ',.l . April Geddie, pictured above, is the daughter of lVlr. and IVlrs. Don Geddie, of Taylorsville. Her plans for the future arq to finish her education and obtain a degree in retail floristryl April's major is floriculture. She is a member of the Studen Council, Freshman Class Favorite, and Freshman Class Offi cer. She hopes to have a business of her own one day. Apri likes to bowl, ski, arrange flowers, and horseback riding. Na-4 Pam Geddie, pictured above, hopes to be an x-ray techni- cian. Terry L. Caves, pictured above, is Vice-Pres. of the Sopho- more class, member of Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, Basketball team, Student Council, and Hall of Fame. He is majoring in Political Science, plans to attend law school, and eventually wants to be an attorney. Terry's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard B. Caves of Laurel. His hobby is sports and his favorite subjects are English and History. ?' Vicki Cleckler, pictured above, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cleckler of Laurel. She plans to graduate from USM and get her PhD. Vicki is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a member of the gospel quartet Gloryland Sing- ers, and enjoys sewing and music. Her major is math, and her favorite subjects are math and English Lit. Cindy Crumpton, below, is a library assistant, treasurer of Phi Theta Kappa, and a J Award winner. She is interested in Home Economics. Cindy's special interest is dietetics. She plans to complete her studies in dietetics and work in a hos- pital. Hobbies that Cindy enjoys are reading, sewing, playing the piano, and tennis. Mrs. John M. Glaze is her grand- mother. Danny Dickerson, below, hopes to someday have a position in some type of industry. His major is marketing, and some of his favorite courses are marketing, advertising, and small business management. Danny is president of Mississippi Jr. Collegiate, DECA, and the Hall of Fame. He is the son of Mrs. Joyce Dickerson and plans to attend U.S.M. after J.C. 2 Q 2 5

li, Cynthia Graves, above, plans to become a clinical psycholo- gist. She hopes to work with emotionally disturbed people. Cynthia enjoys singing, reading, and playing the piano. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and she won the J Award. Cynthia's parents are Mrs. Valda Sue Lee and the late Mr. Curtis S. Graves of Ellisville. Cynthia plans to attend USM after J. C. Teresa Hendrix, above, is a member of the Baptist Student Union, and the Rec. Club. She has won the intramural volley- ball All Star Trophy, the Recreation-Achievement Award, and the Recreation Leadership Award. Teresa's major is speech and hearing. Her goal for the future is to teach at a school for the deaf. Teresa's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Russell A. Hendrix of Fruitdale, Ala. Karen Hinton, pictured below, has a double major in journal- ism and political science. She hopes to one day work for a newspaper or magazine. Karen is the managing editor of the Radionian. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa, and active in intramural basketball. Special interests of Karen's are reading, running, preservation of nature and animals, and women's rights. Karen is the daughter of Mattie Hinton and the late Mr. C. H. Hinton. Shelton Houston, below, plans to attend USM after finishing J. C. He would like to work in the computer section of a large company. Shelton's favorite subjects are math, physics, and electronics. His hobbies are playing golf and working on a farm. Shelton's major is electronics technology. He is a member of VICA and has won the J Award. Shelton's par- ents are Mr. and Mrs. Rupert E. Houston of Raleigh.
