A major in Business Administration and Management, Mike won a three year ROTC scholarship to USM for the coming year. At JCJC Mike achieved a 4.0 average in his studies in addition to working at a job. H Janice Amerson, above, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil lie J. Amerson of Laurel. She is majoring in biological sci ences and plans to seek a career in the medical field aftei attending the University Medical Center in Jackson. She would like to go into Occupational Therapy. Here at Jones Janice is a member ofthe Afro-American Cultural Club, aric the Student Council. She enjoys volleyball, sewing, ceram ics, cooking, and listening to music. Rita Faye Brewer, is a math major. She hopes to teach matl at the secondary and college levels when she finishes- school. Rita plans to attend the University of Southern Mis sissippi after leaving J.C. She is a member of Phi Thetj Kappa, and received the J award here at Jones. Her parent. are J. Terry L. Caves, pictured above, is Vice-Pres. of the Sopho- more class, member of Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Beta Lambda, Basketball team, Student Council, and Hall of Fame. He is majoring in Political Science, plans to attend law school, and eventually wants to be an attorney. Terry's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard B. Caves of Laurel. His hobby is sports and his favorite subjects are English and History. ?' Vicki Cleckler, pictured above, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cleckler of Laurel. She plans to graduate from USM and get her PhD. Vicki is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa, a member of the gospel quartet Gloryland Sing- ers, and enjoys sewing and music. Her major is math, and her favorite subjects are math and English Lit. Cindy Crumpton, below, is a library assistant, treasurer of Phi Theta Kappa, and a J Award winner. She is interested in Home Economics. Cindy's special interest is dietetics. She plans to complete her studies in dietetics and work in a hos- pital. Hobbies that Cindy enjoys are reading, sewing, playing the piano, and tennis. Mrs. John M. Glaze is her grand- mother. Danny Dickerson, below, hopes to someday have a position in some type of industry. His major is marketing, and some of his favorite courses are marketing, advertising, and small business management. Danny is president of Mississippi Jr. Collegiate, DECA, and the Hall of Fame. He is the son of Mrs. Joyce Dickerson and plans to attend U.S.M. after J.C. 2 Q 2 5
