The Jones County Junior College Band has always been a great asset to the institution, enrolling every year a very large group of high school and col- lege students. During the year it has performed at the many football games, at chapel ceremonies--such as the one for sending off the Army Reserves- and at the Christmas concert. As an educational activity it offers valuable training to the students along the lines of sight-reading, organization, and technique. Going through a series of changes this year, the band finally found a 'dependable' in Miss Katherine Breland of Hattiesburg. l i P A + ithryn Mooily, Edgar W':nrn-n, l-Ixa Jean Haynes.
