Parents and Teachers Agree Back To School Night Is A Fun Place To Be Back to school night gives par- ents the opportunity to become students once again. Parents enjoy meeting the teachers that they ' ve heard so much about. Teachers try to guess which parents match up with which students. Back to school night is a great night for everyone. 28

— THE STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS — HARD AT WORK TO PROMOTE SCHOOL SPIRIT This year the Student Council revitalized Dayton spirit by bringing back the cherished November Fall Festival. During this fun-filled week, the Student Council sponsored a very successful hall decorating contest and pep rally. In February, the Student Council also ran a Valentine ' s Day Lip-Synch Dance. In addition, the Student Council also brought a proposal before the Board of Education calling for reinstatement of senior exemptions from final exams, and spearheaded a pro- gram which would provide photo identification cards for all students of the regional district. The Student Council is also planning to hold a talent show for its spring function.
