HALSEY Wilt PRINCIPAL In the Regional District the effect of the rise in the national birth rate together with the influx of people into new housing developments has placed a severe strain on the present school facilities. It is estimated that the Regional High School enrollment will continue to rise until it will be more than double the present en- rollment in 1963. As seniors you were well aware of the crowded conditions in the high school. You are to be congratulated for the support you gave in urging your parents, relatives and neigh- bors to approve the bond issue for an addition. While you will not have the opportunity of attending the en- larged high school, you will always have the satisfaction of knowing that you helped to make it possible for future Regionalites to have adeguate school facilities.
