They do this by reflecting their moods and activities outside their classes. Alder teachers enthusiastically cheer the team on to victory. Mr. Novak instructs Mr. Hopkins in the proper manner of how to tame a rubber snake. 19 Mr. Schmidt reflected a happy mood when he bowled a 'perfect game.

He is always alert to the needs of students and works for the betterment of our entire school. In his calm, yet concerned way, Mr. Oxley is always willing to listen to all ideas and problems. As the Student Council advisor, he helps to guide and promote unity. O.E. OXLEY GORDON OXLEY, B.S. Principal Mrs. Doris Cary, guidance counselor, is always gracious and helpful to the student body. She guides in courses of study, ex- ploration of vocations, selection of colleges, teacher relations, and other problems that arise during a busy school day.
