To recall experiences of the past - that is the job of the annual staff. Y our memories of Jonathan Alder High School may include the crowded hallways . . . quiet assemblies . . . tryinq out for the play ... a chaotic class meeting . . . losing the big game . your first dance ... a snap quiz ... an impossible assignment from your favorite teacher ... a hazardous chemistry experiment . . . a hard day in the school forest . . . serving as a slave ... and for the seniors, the excitement of graduation. The annual staff works year round compiling a record of activities, sports, people, and special events that make up Jonathan Alder High School. Let this Powder Horn bring back some of these past experiences. 2 The Powder Horn Staff of 1961-62 Barbara Howsman dedicated 1961 Powder Horn to Mrs. Dorothy Sayre.
