Twenty changes of scenery featured in Li,l Abner Twenty scene changes and a cast of 46 characters were featured in the 1968 operetta, Lil! Abner. In charge of set construction was Miss Susie Meyer. Set crews were up to their elbows in paste for two weeks constructing the eleven foot statue of Jubilation T. Cornpone which was made out of chicken wire and papier- mache on a plywood base. Special hairstyling and make-up effects transformed the cast into the characters of Al Capp's comic strip. Each night of the perform- ance, a hair stylist from the Boston Store was present to style Ed Nelson's hair like that of Li'l Abner's. Elaine Honiotes applies make-up to Ed Nelson. Rollers and hairclips helped transform Ed into Li'l Abner. Although there was much work to be done backstage, Dave Wright, jan Stoner, and john Maloney managed to find time for a little clowning, H- Daisy Mae, Kay Fox, pleads with Li'l Abner, Ed Nelson, to come to the his friends Lamar McCallum, Larry Robinson, Bill Klein, Cary Arthur, Corn Fone meetin' with herg but he would rather stay and fish with and Dale Evans, than go with her to the meetinf Student Life

Iuniors present Camelot as 1968 spring prom May lT marked the date of Camelot, the junior-Senior Prom which was held at D'Amieos 214. Among the decorations at the prom were a I4 foot castle and an authentic suit of armor. Eight committees worked along with the junior Class officers to present Camelot. Tim Pohlman, class president, stated, i'Putting on the prom was a lot of hard work, hut it was fun and were proud of the joh we did. After-prom-activities were held from 3 a.m. until dawn. Both gyms were open for vol- leyball, trampoline, and dancing. Masque of the Red Death was shown and breakfast was served, Beginning an eventful evening, -lay Wheeler acts as quite a gentleman as he helps Ticket sales reached a high of 481.
