Also, a special student performance was given after school on Vl1lltlI'SClL1y. jackie Powell portrayed the part of Helen Keller, a blind and deaf child. Niany weeks of practice while blindfolded were necessary for jackie to control the focus of her eyes. Annie Sullivan, the miracle worker, was characterized by Gail Dixon, Kate Keller, Captain Keller, and james Keller were portrayed by jody Beth Far- , ley, Gary Hossbach, and Bob Nlowry. Bob Boettcher, stage manager, worked with stage crews to complete the set.
