Among these groups were, The Pendragon, Rapid Transit, Crystal Tower, El- mo Blatnefs Electrical Cacumbers, and The Hearts of Soul. VVith the new hands came the new fads of dancing in a circle and sitting on the floor. Stu- dents wcre exposed to rock, psychedelic, and soul music because of the variety of bands. Scheduling an after-game dance gave an or- ganization an opportunity to raise money, Per- mission was granted hy the administration for girls to wear slacks to after-game dances for the first time, Student participation was high and after-game dances were numerous on the 68-69 school calendar.
