Debbie and Marla chosen as Ideal Senior Girls Winter Wonderland, the fourth annual win- ter formal sponsored by the yearbook staff, proved to have a unique highlight on December 21, 1968. On that night Debbie Klein and Marla Stelow tied for the title of Miss Alpha Omega, the ideal senior girl. Both girls were given roses and crowned by last yearys winner, Su Schiek. Bob Owen, editor of the yearbook, announced the winners and also first runner-up Judy Rod- by and second runner-up DeAnna Pederson. Weeks before the formal, senior girls were judged on personality, poise, appearance, serv- ice to the school, and academic achievement.
