With music being a favorite interest, Gail keeps in tune at home as well as in school. Outstanding Seniors Represent Ideal Qualities of Youth Chosen on the basis of academic achieve- ment, leadership, and participation in school activities, these twelve seniors represent three per cent of the Class of 1967. Gail Honiotes, elected secretary of A Cap- pella Choir and Treble Choir, was also a mem- ber of Madrigals and Student Council. She ap- peared in the operetta, West Side Story. Gail was also first runner up in the Miss Alpha Omega contest. 4 Athlete Chuck McLurkin was a great asset to West's football and track teams. Chuck was also a part of the upper quarter for all four years. Mark Furlane's list of achievements in- cluded senior class president, a member of NHS, and a valuable part of West's football and wrestling teams. Cheerleading, vice president of Student Council, NHS, Lettermen's Sweetheart, fresh- man court attendant, and second runner up in the Miss Alpha Omega contest are listed as Diane Heinlen's many contributions. Scott Baskin, an active member in speech presentations, was elected president of NHS. Barb Myers, a cheerleader for three years, was a member of the yearbook staff and A Cappella Choir for two years. Barb, a member of NHS, was elected Miss Alpha Omega for 1966-67. Mark and Chuck reminisce over past Tiger football games, of which they were both very much a part. 157
