Other officers are Dawn Sheridan, vice-president: LeeAnn Carlson, sec- retary: and Vickie Lowery, treasurer. Executing a strong arabesque, Gaye Myers practices dance movements. Modern Dance Evokes Grace through Expression Girls with a common interest in dance, broke away from a GAA activity to form a sep- arate club. Originally modern dance was a part of a regular girl's physical education schedule. Girls then wanted additional practice after school, so GAA sponsored them as an eight week activity. But when the eight weeks were up, they wanted to continue to meet so Mrs. Atterberry and Mrs. Ocokoljich took upon them- selves the task of forming the new club. Missy Bradley was elected president to pre- side at the business meetings. 117
