Green Thumb Club Emerges from A.A. Whether conducting a new biology experi- ment, or watching a movie on space travel, the Alchemists Anonymous explored the world of science. These members traveled to the Na- tional Laboratory at Argonne where they toured the immense research center. They were also impressed by the enthusiastic talks on psychol- ogy given by Mr. Richard Pryor. Science Club members sold megaphones for boosting cheers at the games. Concession stands were operated by the science club for game time snacks. Newly drawn up were the blueprints for a subsidiary of the A.A., the Green Thumb Club. This new club would be de- voted to the landscaping of certain areas of the school grounds, and the planting of more trees and shrubs. sz Q .
