Current social, academic, and athletic events were covered as well as per- tinent school issues. Tiger Tales rolled off the press in the graphic print shop under the watchful eye of editor-in-chief, Linda Lindbloom, and co- editor, Mike McLaren. Issues hit the press on topics like the Junior College Referendum, the Christmas Coronation of Miss Alpha Omega, and the Homecoming Week. Special holiday issues conveyed the festive spirit with car- toons, features, and interviews of the season. Tiger Tales staff rushed to meet dead- lines. Other FFA travels included a trip to Oregon where a Com- munication Workshop was held. FFA members participated in a number of judging contests. Various members entered competition in the Meat and Dairy Judging Con- test, while others preferred entry in the Sectional Grain and Poultry Show at Yorkville. During Na- tional FFA Week, the club sponsored a family and son potluck supper. Dave Hillesland, Ron Lingle, and Dan Davis were presented with an award for Land Use. FFA--FIRST ROW: P. Lemonta, P.
