Sponsors Brightened Military Precision of N. D. C. C. Students Trained For Military Positions Students enrolled in N.D.C.C. were organized along military lines. Dean Macris served as cadet commander and other students held staff or com- mand positions below him. Major Nel- son's staff included officers and en- listed men who taught courses and others who handled the administration of the unit. N.D.C.C. cadets practice their complicated precision maneuvers on the blacktop. They learned the correctness of military marching through constant drill.
