Counselors Guided West's Student Body Counselors had a big job and one that was very necessary to the school. It was the coun- selors' job to aid students in planning their high school curriculum and working out their schedule. The Joliet Township High School Board of Education served us effectively by establishing school policies, fixing salaries, and handling all the major problems of the school. They met once a month with special meetings when necessary. Other very necessary personnel to the school, included the superintendents, princi- pal, and deans, who gave top service to the running of Joliet West.
