Michlyn Kane concludes her semester of Algebra III by studying logarithms. Math Center Provided an Outlet for Students. Sandra Ray, furthering her education in math, looks for a book in the math center. Required mathematics for the college prep student included algebra and geometry. Elec- tive studies consisted of Algebra Ill, trignom- etry, college algebra, solid geometry, and analytic geometry. In the math center, students furthered their education by reading various material pertaining to math found in the math library. With work bench and various tools found in the lab, the students built math projects which were used to understand the mathematical principles expressed in theirs and other stu- dents' models. Paul Ringstrom and Miss Fisher admire Paul's project for X-College Algebra. Geometry student Jim Kimble applies the formula for determining the area of a trapezoid.
