1 128 Looking somewhat topsy-turvy is Jane Williamson doing an inverted hang on the still rings. Since a spotter is always necessary in apparatus, Pat Kosmerl stands by. Various GAA Sports Promote Physical Fitness During the year, each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday meant a different sport activity for most GAA members. Many sports were offered for a certain duration of time, and members signed up and participated in these activities. Two points were given for each hour of participation in an activity. After a to- tal of twenty-four points had been earned, the members would be initiated. Awards, depend- ing on the number of points earned, were ob- tained by GAA members. By participating in a wide variety of activi- ties, GAA members acquired skill in the field of sports. Most important, though, was the spirit of sportsmanship felt by each girl. Performing what is known as a wolf stance on the horse is Donna Klempt. Her spotter is Bunny Norcross
