In varsity dual meets, Coach wank had the valuable sophomores on the varsity team. aking first in the East-Kingsmen Relays and finishing in econd position in the Will County track meet, the varsity roved powerful in the area. Although the valuable sophomores were in all the arsity dual meets, Coach Swank would not forfeit them for he Frosh Conference meets. Greg Hutson was a valuable asset to the 1965 varsity track team, but un- fortunately he was out nearly the entire season with a torn ligament in his knee. Two of the greatest competitors on the varsity team were Walter Kimble and Stan Mazon. Walt holds the school's record in the 100 yard dash and Stan holds some of the long distance records.
