Senior Celebrities I've got to get this homework done because Garfield Goose comes on in ten minutes! JOANNE STEFANICH spent her senior year as Company B Sponsor of the N.D.C.C. and Senior Class Treasurer. In her earlier high school years, she was Sopho- more Court Attendant and served on the Student Council. l'My dog has flees .... That's the way to tune it. This is one of JEFF DAVIS' many talents. One thing for sure, he knows how to sing. As a leading Madrigal. he acquires much skill. He has had a lead in one of the school operettas and also a major part in the all-school play. West had a very successful Mr. Football weekend thanks to Jeff's planning and leadership. l'd show you how to work this thing, but l lost the instructions! ALAN KAMHI really knows how to operate his saber. Besides being a very active member of the N.D.C.C., Alan participates in A Cappella Choir and Madrigals. Adding to his busy schedule is his membership in the National Honor Society. l i i 1 I If you don't come up in five minutes, l'll be in for you, says DONNA GROHNE. This isn't a very practical way to teach swimming. but it does encourage the kids to learn. When Donna isn't wearing her Gold Band Sponsor uniform, you might find her giving swimming lessons at the

Senior Celebrities We just happened to catch JIM NICHOLSON in one of his more relaxed moments. During football season he doesn't have much extra time for things like that as he is a hard working member of the team. Jim was voted the most valuable player for the 1964-65 season. Hey Kathy, that note should be a sharp, not a flat! Through KATHY ALLEN'S high school years she has been very active. She has been a cheerleader all four years, and this year she is the captain of the varsity squad. lt's easy to see that her warm smile could really cheer the teams on to victory. Besides being a cheerleader, Kathy is also a member of the A Cappella choir and a past member of the Student Council. Who forgot to water these things? As KAY BOORAS takes time out of her busy schedule to organize a scrapbook of many high. school' achieve- ments, she finds many honors including Senior Court Attendant, Senior Class Secretary, yearbook co-editor, ind Student Council. Want to run it? This is quite a ridiculous question since SALLY HUEY'S little touring Jeep doesnt go over forty-five miles an hour. Sal has been a busy girl throughout her high school career Amonf. her many accomplishments are Freshm in Court At tendant, vice-president of Pep Club, and 1 member of dent Council.

West Campus Extends Welcome To First Exchange Student Celina Varela is known not only as West's foreign exchange student from Brazil, but also for her ability to accompany herself as she sings folk songs and hossa nova. When not playing the guitar, Celina is active in the American Field Service, Stu- dent Council, A Cappella Choir and GAA. Perhaps one of the highlights of her year in America is the snow. She likes skating and snowball fights especially well. Snow won't go back to Brazil, but many memories will. Celina and the Converse family are a terrific group with many common interests. Seated are Ruth, Celina. Louise: standing Steve, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Converse. Celina and the Converse family have had many enjoyable experiences. They never fail to get together when there is a need for it, says Celina. ef?-1-'gifs M revise:-asiise . f - ,- we Wagga-14.4 I afjfiggiig easzsaw. M... -W - V- - ft -,ess -155,1 ,. ss... ,.
