A Library is a Storehouse of Knowledge Mr. Edmond Williams, the head librarian, is hard at work behind his desk. We are fortunate to have his highly qualified services aiding us in beginning our library at West. Assisting Mr. Williams in running the library is the assistant librarian, Miss Dorothy Wells. The library at West Campus is extremely modern and well-equipped. It was built as the hub of the school, around which the English, Science, Language, and Math classes, as well as many others revolve. For instance, the library has four large conference rooms where students may work on group discussions or other oral work. There are twelve study booths where students may do work privately. The library also contains a periodical room in which magazines and special documents are stored, and this room may double as a class room which teachers may use. Besides these features,' the library has a materials room, audio-visual room, and listening booths to make it modern and well-equipped. '13 Student assistant librarians of periods 15 and 16 are Ruth Wille, Denise Geritano, Kathy Van Tassel, Donna Klemt, and Tom McLaughlin. These student volunteers provide a useful service to the school while learning about library systems. v u..-r' ,. Mr. Daniel Bonar is working room of the library.
