hysical Fitness and dexterity. . it Pat Gooday, Sue Warfel, Cindy Xigogianis, Pat Liberty, and Kirma Pearce. ss - Demonstrating stunts in tumbling classes are Ann Calosio, Chris Wilson, Debbie Amold, and Nancy Mullen. 6 M Ai Basic movement is an important part of girl's training. Seen here are Bonnie Gatons and Becky Grazis using the jump ropes. The Physical Education Department works to develop sound bodies while the school develops sound minds. Being physically fit and healthy not only makes a student feel and act better, but also helps him to do better in his school studies. Physical fitness is as important as an academic class because a well-developed student is a student well developed in body as well as mind. The department builds physical stamina and strength in boys, while the girls develop poise, self-confidence, and control, Through the efforts of the physical education instructors the students of West are better prepared for the future world.
